I'll miss you m3. You've been a good and bad girl to me, but you'll still hold a special place in my heart.

I was playing around with my friend in his stang, and I passed on a semi-blind curve. I admit, it was most likely my fault, but I also just had spark plugs done and wasn't used to all the newfound power.

Kinja'd!!!

Straight into a semi as I swerved to avoid an oncoming car. I'll be considering a lawyer for the dealer not warning me. Everyone's fine though, I'm just a little shooken up.

Sorry man, that sucks. Sorry about your car - glad you are ok. However are you serious about the spark plugs, or is that a "tire pressure" April Fools joke?

How is this good, I had to leave before the cops came as I had been drinking. Luckily my buddy became a bro and said he was the driver of my car and stayed while I left in his stang. Next time I'll make sure to hit the van, semi truck trailers do not have a crumple zone!

I wish it was a joke. I was looking for a more practical yet sporty looking and good gas mileage. What do you think about this beauty?

I want to give you my condolences, but something doesn't add up. I can also notice the side mirrors are blacked out in your first picture but not in the wrecked one. I hope it's just a joke and you didn't really lose her... :(

Haha she's fine. I was just making a play on the guy in his m3 that hopped a curb because his tire was off by 1 psi.

Happy April fools!

Oh the guy leaving java and gasoline? I think I've seen it. On a side note, how has it [your m3] treated you? I'm considering a white one coincidentally, but the fear of total failure or just silly maintenance costs have stopped me.

Happy April Fools... lol

I love her. Maintance isn't bad if you diy. Oil changes are $135 every 7k (BMW recommends 15k, don't). Rod bearings are the only thing that worry me, but the 2011 and newer have updated bearings so it shouldn't be an issue for me, hopefully. Lifetime average gas mileage is 19 mpg. Honestly budget doing a rod bearing service ($1500$ish) if you get an older higher mileage one, then catastrophic failure won't be an issue.

That is a huge relief, I've been very close to getting one but didn't since I had no direct ppl to ask about their reliability and service costs. So 2011+ is the target then to avoid the bearing issue. That is great news...

Yep, or do the rod bearing service. If you have a nice mechanic near by an 08 for 28k with 2k in preventive maintance would be pretty reliable. And an absolute steal for that price for one hell of a car.

Haha, I tried to find a m3 as similar as mine. Had to pull off the "I'm the best driver because I own a BMW" attitude too.

Really? more power or just better throttle response

The only truthful thing in this whole post. Both, the car would fall a little flat at 8200rpm, now it keeps building all the way to redline. The spark plugs also work as the knock sensor in the m3.
